Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) equipment is a highly efficient solid-liquid and oil-water separation system developed based on core mechanisms involving high-pressure air dissolution, negative-pressure air release, and micro-bubble adsorption. The process involves dissolving air into water under pressure to create saturated dissolved-air water; this water is then passed through a release mechanism, where a sudden pressure drop generates a massive quantity of uniform micro-bubbles. These micro-bubbles efficiently adhere to free oil, emulsified oil, suspended solids, and colloidal impurities present in the water, forming flocculated aggregates with a density lower than that of water, which rapidly float to the liquid surface. A skimming system subsequently separates the oil sludge from the clarified water, thereby completing the purification and treatment of oil-bearing wastewater and industrial wastewater.
This equipment employs a mature and stable physical air flotation separation process, integrated with a high-efficiency air dissolution system, a precision air release device, an automated skimming system, and a PLC-based automatic control system to ensure continuous and automated operation. It serves as a classic, core component for the pretreatment of oil-bearing wastewater, the removal of suspended solids, and oil-water separation. Widely applicable across scenarios such as industrial wastewater purification, water resource reclamation, and environmental compliance discharge, the system is characterized by high treatment efficiency, stable operation, and convenient maintenance.
The equipment primarily consists of the air flotation tank, dissolved air system, dissolved air recirculation piping, dissolved air release device, sludge scraping mechanism, and electrical control cabinet.
